creating unforgettable safaris that do good.

We’re not a faceless safari company. We’re a team of passionate locals (and one ex-customer turned safari convert!) who care deeply about this land, its wildlife, and the people who call it home. With every trip we design, we’re not just showing you Tanzania, we’re inviting you into our world.

About Us

@yourinstahandle

Born in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and raised within the Maasai community, Malaki grew up watching guides arrive with wide-eyed travellers eager to learn about his tribe. That curiosity sparked a lifelong dream.
After years of carrying 30kg loads as a porter up Mount Kilimanjaro to fund his education, Malaki now leads safaris across the land he calls home. His mission? To show you the real Tanzania, with heart, humour, and unmatched expertise.
“I count myself the luckiest man alive. Every day, I get to share the beauty of my home with new friends from across the world.”

Founder & Lead Guide

Malaki Tumsif

Because a safari is only as good as the people who lead it.

At Migration Tanzania Safari, our guides aren’t just experts, they’re storytellers, trackers, protectors, and proud ambassadors of their culture. Every guide you meet here is part of our family, and when you travel with us, you become part of it too.

Meet the guides

Who make it magical

Zebe grew up in a traditional Maasai village, where a love for wildlife was as natural as breathing. Like Malaki, he started out as a porter, saving every shilling to study wildlife management.

Since 2015, he’s been guiding guests through Tanzania’s most iconic landscapes, and doing it with passion, humility, and deep local knowledge.

Ask him about the Great Migration or Maasai rituals, you’ll leave with more than a photo. You’ll leave with a story.

Originally from the Meru tribe (also known as the Wameru or Rwa), Johnson has been guiding safaris across Tanzania since 2013. With over a decade of experience and a sixth sense for spotting wildlife, he’s one of those rare guides who brings both deep knowledge and effortless good vibes to every drive.
Known for his quick wit and infectious laugh, Johnson is always up for a joke—but don’t let the humour fool you. He’s a true professional who knows the bush like the back of his hand. Whether you’re tracking big cats or watching the sunset with a G&T, Johnson makes sure every moment is unforgettable.

What started as one life-changing safari with Malaki turned into something much bigger. Bea went from guest to team member, and now runs the behind-the-scenes magic: handling all your questions, building your itinerary, and making sure every step of your journey feels smooth, personal, and perfectly tailored.
Her background in travel, storytelling, and customer experience means you’re in safe hands from the moment you enquire.

“I said yes to a safari, not knowing it would change everything. Now I help others do the same.”
